The window to the west is opened through the capital city of Perth which is developed around the pristine waterways of the Swan River named after the famous black swans which can be found along the river. Perth is a modern and spacious city populated by 1.2 million people and supposedly Australias sunniest capital. Perth is also the most isolated capital city in the world.

The river allows the locals to participate in many water sports such as boating, sailing, water skiing, wind surfing, rowing, fishing, jet skiing, or just cruising the river on one of the ferries.

The Swan River runs through the metropolitan area to Fremantle. Beautiful waterfront mansions are found along the river and picturesque villas indulging in a boating lifestyle along the canals of the southern regions.
