Rated as one of the Top 25 Best Places to Live in 2005 by Money magazine and CNN/Money, Fishers, Indiana is quickly becoming one of the suburbs of choice for both Indianapolis and Hamilton County workers. It is located approximately 15 miles northeast of downtown Indianapolis and has an impressive growth rate with a wide range of housing options including new, single-family homes, condominiums, and apartments. Homes are generally priced between $100,000 and $1,000,000.

Fishers is rapidly becoming an upscale residential and commercial center, which extends from White River on the west to Geist Reservoir on the east. Its easy access to highways is just one of the reasons Fishers is becoming a preferred location for corporate headquarters and exclusive residential subdivisions. However, in spite of extensive business growth, Fishers has managed to retain its small-town charm along with cultural amenities, such as the nationally-recognized Conner Prairie Living History Museum and Ritchey Woods Nature Preserve. The town of Fishers has a number of public parks, soccer fields, playgrounds, and an ice skating arena. Nearby, Geist and Morse Reservoirs offer water sports such as fishing, boating, and water-skiing.
