The biggest “little city” in Florida, North Port is one of the state’s most newly-developed areas. Encompassing over 120 square miles, the city is set inland and borders Venice to the north, Pt. Charlotte and Murdoch to the south, and Englewood to the west.Originally a haven for winter-weary snowbirds and retirees, North Port has grown into one of the most popular places to live in Southwest Florida, with a mixture of young and old.
