Bettendorf is the youngest city within the region of Illinois and Iowa where the Mississippi runs west known as the Quad Cities.  Beautiful residential neighborhoods, parks, golf courses, and recreational facilities are the hallmarks of this gem along the river.

Two highly regarded public school systems serve the area – Bettendorf and Pleasant Valley Community School Districts.  Rivermont Collegiate, a private, college preparatory school of K-12, is available to students in Bettendorf and throughout the Quad Cities. The Bettendorf Public Library and the Family Museum of Arts and Sciences are two wonderful educational facilities open to any resident of the Quad Cities.
  
Many fine restaurants, shopping centers, specialty stores, and grocery stores are located throughout Bettendorf.  New development along the riverfront includes a new hotel adjacent to The Isle of Capri Riverboat and Convention Center.  Commercial and residential development to the east and north keep Bettendorf growing strong.

Bettendorf has many new construction neighborhoods with homes ranging in price from around $250,000 and up.  Housing of almost any type is available from condos to villas to residential.  Affordable existing residential homes start around $100,000.  Commute times of 10 – 20 minutes to almost anywhere in the Quad Cities makes Bettendorf an easy choice for those wanting to live in a growing, vital community.
