A picturesque suburban town, Norwell, Massachusetts is an affluent community located along the scenic North River in Plymouth County. Norwell has successfully retained its rural charm yet offers easy access to major routes including 3, 3A, 123, 53 as well as a commuter rail station in Scituate slated to begin service in 2007. Norwell’s schools are considered some the best in the area. Standard & Poor’s School Evaluation Service recognized the schools in 2006 as one of 30 “outperforming” school districts in the state.
The town offers many outdoor recreational opportunities and nature preserves including the South Shore Natural Science Center and Norris Reservations. Exclusively a residential community, Norwell has quaint local shops, restaurants and venues for residents to enjoy.
