Farmington Hills is known as one of the safest cities not only in Michigan but in the United States as well. Last year, Farmington Hills was ranked as the eleventh safest city to live in the country.

The Farmington Public School District is nationally recognized through its academic excellence, recently awarding its superintendent the “Michigan’s Best” award.
