Huntington Woods is a mature community often referred to as “The City of Homes.” A highly desirable community, Huntington streets are lined with trees and well-maintained homes on hilly paths. In addition, Huntington Woods offers its residents museums, historical sites and a recreation center with year-round activities. Huntington Woods annual event, “Art in the Woods Fine Art & Fine Craft Fair”, is held every July. Huntington Woods is about 30 minutes northwest of Detroit. The Parks and Recreation department of Huntington offers an array of activities for those of all ages. A senior program offers classes, special events and other activities to the mature-minded. Huntington Woods is located in the heart of Oakland County, and is bordered by the 10 and 11 mile roads. Oakland County is Michigan’s wealthiest county, and the nations second wealthiest county with a population over 1 million. Oakland County is home to 62 cities, each with its own community driven pride.
Huntington Woods boasts beautiful homes. From single-family units, town homes, and apartments, Huntington has a style and price range for everyone.
