The Manchester area in eastern Rock Hill has dramatically expanded in the last few years. Cherry Park has five softball fields and Hargett Park has four baseball fields. Cherry Park has hosted the National Softball Association's World Series twice in the last ten years. If you are a fan of college sports, feel free to come out and support the Winthrop Eagles.  Winthrop's baseball and basketball teams were nationally ranked in 2007.
