La Vergne, Tennessee is a community within the city limits of Nashville with a long, fascinating history. Starting as a farming community, over the past few decades it has become a significant player in Tennessee’s business community. Though working in Nashville is easy enough via commute, it’s also home to the largest industrial park in the state and many companies have put offices down here including Walden Books and Hollywood Video. La Vergne also houses several parks, is close to the Percy Priest Lake, and has museums which highlight the history and natural wonders La Vergne holds.
