Living in Irvington, Alabama

Irvington, Alabama is located in South Mobile County just past Theodore and before Grand Bay Alabama, South of Interstate I-10. Many Gulfport, Mississippi workers live in this area. Irvington is known for the Mobile International Speedway where many locals come out on Saturday night to run the tracks. Miller Lite and other national sponsors recognize the popularity of the speedway along with the many fans. But not just the locals have sped on this ½ mile racetrack; others began their career here before moving on. The 1/8 mile dragway track is located just to the west of the speedway. Well known daredevil Bubba Blackwell makes frequent appearances at the track.

The small community of the Irvington area includes beautiful farm land and pastures and is conveniently located between Mississippi and the Florida panhandle.
