Scottsdale, a highly sought after resort destination, was founded in 1888 and has since sprouted into a cosmopolitan community of young up-and-comers, financially comfortable middle-agers and retiree’s enjoying their just rewards. Although Scottsdale stretches quite a distance, Southern Scottsdale, also known as Old Town Scottsdale, serves as one of the main shopping and cultural areas of the town. Along with the modern Mecca of Scottsdale Fashion Square, the newly built Scottsdale Waterfront is lined with clothing boutiques, art galleries, restaurants, and retail stores. Scottsdale is truly a destination must.
