Welcome to Sun City, AZ

Stress-free traffic jams are part of the daily routine of Sun City. They often consist of no more than 5 cars, and chances are the drivers all know each other. This model retirement community Del E. Webb began building in 1960 now boasts 40,000+ residents.

With its motto “visit, play, retire," Sun City is a haven for the elder generation. To ensure its residents retirement or near-retirement status, no one under the age of eighteen is allowed to live here for more than 90 days. Restaurant, retail, medical and financial facilities are within easy reach.

Residents and visitors can choose from eighteen golf courses between Sun City and Sun City West, and Lake Pleasant is just a 30 minute drive.

Residents here have a tradition of helping each other. They personify the unspoken Sun City philosophy that life is what you make of it.
