Alamo, California residents often visit adjacent towns to attend higher level colleges such as The University of California Berkeley. This residential city also offers its residents lots of recreation and amusement for everyone to enjoy. Like many places in the area, Alamo retains the rural or semi-rural feel it's always had and much of the leisure comes from the town's natural beauty. Alamo is located near Mt. Diablo, which is a great mountain for climbing, hiking or just enjoying the view.
