Living in Anaheim Hills, CA

Anaheim proper may get all the attention with Disneyland, Angels Stadium and California Adventure, but ask the locals and they’ll tell you that Anaheim Hills is THE place to live.

Angels’ baseball great Vladimir Guerrero, Minnesota Twin Hall of Famer Rod Carew and Anaheim Ducks hockey player Craig Johnson all settled here most likely because of the small town appeal that is coupled with conveniences most often found in larger cities right around the corner.

And lest you think Anaheim Hills is only for the sporty, NASA astronaut David Leestma and Cheetah Girl Sabrina Bryan (of Dancing with the Stars fame as well) also hail from this fair city.

The community provides a quiet rural atmosphere with a backdrop of verdant rolling hillsides, views that are nothing short of breathtaking from many homes in the area’s well-established neighborhoods and rare estate living that is either gated or hidden away on sprawling expanses of land - as seen in places such as Peralta Hills, a distinctive community within Anaheim Hills.

For the recreation enthusiast, there are the bicycle trails, bike rentals, picnic, play areas and lakes found at Yorba Regional Park - a 175 acre, one mile long setting built on an historic “river” site, as well as riding trails for the equestrian lover and one of the toughest Golf Courses (even Yahoo says so) in Orange County for the golf aficionado.

Fine dining establishments are hidden away in busy local shopping centers offering a mix of specialty & boutique stores and neighborhood grocers, as well as cinemas and fitness centers. And with schools, churches, hospitals and freeways within walking and a short driving distance, Anaheim Hills is one of North Orange County’s best kept secrets.
