Apex, North Carolina -"The Peak of Good Living"

The town of Apex was named by early railroaders who noted that it was the highest point on the main line of the Chatham railroad. The town's railroad history is still alive today, where a turn-of-the-century train depot houses the Apex Chamber of Commerce. Apex, known as "The Peak of Good Living," is located 12 miles from Raleigh and 20 minutes from the Raleigh-Durham Airport. With a 160-acre park including a lake, picnic areas and greenways, Apex is a great place to live and play.

Even though approximately 6 new residents relocate to Apex daily, it has maintained the small town character which is so unique in the rapidly-growing Research Triangle Area. There are many housing options in Apex, North Carolina including new homes for sale, model homes, apartments availabe for rent, and classic red brick houses.
