Apopka, a Growing CommunityApopka is one of the fastest growing communities in the Orlando area. Located Northwest of Orlando, the Apopka area is one of established neighborhoods with large lots as well as a site for new construction by many major homebuilders. Located in Orange County, Apopka is located close to SR 429, a toll road providing quick access to the attraction's areas, and accessible by the new Maitland exchange which is being constructed now. Construction has started on rebuilding the Apopka High School as well as a YMCA to be located nearby. A new addition to the Apopka Hospital has recently opened as well as a new middle school located near a recreation sports complex.
