About Barrington, RI

Barrington, Rhode Island is a moderately upscale city with approximately 17,000 residents. Its latest claim to fame is being named as Money Magazine's "sixth best place to live" in the entire United States. Close to both Providence and Massachusetts, one of Barrington's most fantastic benefits is its proximity to water. It's bordered on the east by the Warren River and on the west and south by Narragansett Bay, with many waterfront properties located here with plenty of places to store boats of many shapes and sizes.

Barrington has a large number of parks and open spaces enjoyed by residents and visitors. Its public school system is considered to be the best in the state. Housing in Barrington can be relatively pricey, but there is a wide variety to choose from.
