Berkeley, California - a Great Place to Live

Much has been written about Berkeley, California for the past few decades and this city still remains one of the most liberal places in the country today. Originally a college town, it has been home to over 100,000 people. Berkeley is located on the coast of the San Francisco Bay and is close to the commercial area of Oakland. The land in Berkeley is beautiful and well kept and the “People's Park” is one of the most well-known parks in the nation.

Berkeley's streets are filled with several diverse types of homes. Victorian homes, tutors, and other classic construction can be found here – many of which have been designed by famous architects. People who live in this city enjoy the diversity it brings, art museums, gorgeous parks and most of all the friendliness amongst their neighbors.
