Welcome to Berkeley Heights, NJ

The small community of Berkeley Heights, settled in the beauty of the Watchung Reservation in 1899, showcases the natural surroundings of rolling hills and riverbanks with cute residential areas. A main attraction in Berkeley Heights is the Littell-Lord Museum and Farmstead with land that has been farmed by its townspeople for close to 200 years. An abundance of spacious parks, outstanding recreational programs, hiking trails, horseback riding trails and lakeside picnic areas will make city life seem remote; but since the town is situated on the train line to New York City and is near major highways, access for both commuting and exploring the surrounding areas is quick and easy. Educational excellence is a trademark of the town, with the Berkeley Heights Public School District being consistently ranked as one of New Jersey's finest. An inviting shopping district and numerous restaurants are some of the other amenities enjoyed in Berkeley Heights.
