Welcome to Bethesda, MD

Bethesda, one of D.C. wealthiest suburbs, is located in Montgomery County; more than 56,000 residents are divided among Bethesda’s many upscale neighborhoods. The city’s vibrant downtown offers Bethesda real estate owners not only a broad selection of live theater performances, shops, and art galleries, but also the eclectic restaurants of Bethesda Row and Woodmont Triangle. In addition, the city boasts a full calendar of events, thanks to the Bethesda Urban Partnership, which oversees the Bethesda Arts & Entertainment District. These include the Bethesda Fine Arts Festival and the popular Play In A Day.

Bethesda real estate is home to a number of major employers, from the corporate headquarters of Marriott International and Lockheed Martin to the National Institutes of Health and Bethesda Naval Hospital. And because the city is so easy to get to, via the Bethesda and Medical Center stations on Metro’s red line, many commuters prefer Bethesda real estate. Bethesda’s youths, meanwhile, are served by an excellent public school system, which includes Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School, Walt Whitman High School, and Walter Johnson High School. As a result, Bethesda real estate is eminently popular among families with school-age children.

With its ample amenities, wide variety of housing options, proximity to Washington, D.C., and accessibility via Metro, Bethesda real estate is arguably the area’s most desirable.
