In 1970, Blue Springs had a population of 6,779. Today, Blue Springs continues to be a growing city with a population of more than 55,000 residents.

All three school districts have been nationally recognized for outstanding performance from the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education to School Matches “What Parents Want” Award.
