Welcome to Brandywine Hundred

Brandywine Hundred covers those communities in Delaware located north of City of Wilmington. Some communities located in Brandywine Hundred include Claymont, Talleyville, Bellefonte and Arden.

Close to I-95 and I-495, this area of Delaware is easily accessible and convenient to commutes into the city of Philadelphia and to the Philadelphia Airport as well as the nearby areas of Wilmington, Delaware. Another major thoroughfare includes Route 202/Concord Pike which provides many shopping and dining opportunities within the Delaware area as well as over the line in nearby parts of Delaware & Chester County Pennsylvania.

Encompassed in Brandywine Hundred is Bellevue State Park which provides numerous recreation activities including horseback riding, field sports & tennis. Bellevue State Park also includes access to the Delaware Greenway which recently has been expanded in efforts to connect walking, biking & hiking paths of all northern Delaware state parks.

There are also many established and historic communities in Brandywine Hundred giving certain areas such as Bellefonte and Arden a quaint “village” feel. Many areas are also within short walks to boutique and convenience shopping, as well as schools and churches. Active members of communities host and participate in local fairs and festivals, including events such as the Ice Cream Festival at historic Rockwood Mansion and the Carnival at Saint Helena's Church.

Housing opportunities are diverse and include everything from townhomes & condominiums along the Delaware River to Colonials and Victorians on the rolling hillsides.
