Located near San Francisco Bay, Foster City is a unique place in California as it wasn't around until the 1960s when real estate magnate T. Jack Foster decided to build the town from the ground up. His plans included this town's recreation including 19 parks, a windsurfing spot, and a 212 acre lagoon. Foster City is an outstanding planned community and visitors and residents alike take pleasure in its scenic lagoons, its beautiful parks and the friendly, small town atmosphere it brings. Foster City is within easy driving distance of practically all San Francisco Bay Area attractions.
