About Gilroy, California

Gilroy, California is one of the fastest growing cities in the Silicon Valley. This growing community savors the beauty of nature, and encourages the spirit of volunteerism. Gilroy is centrally situated within a short driving distance of Monterey Bay, Santa Cruz, the San Joaquin Valley, and the San Francisco Bay Area. Former restrictions placed by the town council were relaxed in the 1990s which has led to an increase in construction for both businesses and new residents. Because of its increase in growth, housing is becoming ever more available and assistant programs are set up through the town for people looking to move in. This city has several homes and commercial buildings of historic significance. Gilroy has a great deal of scenery for people to take in along with still maintaining its agricultural roots.
