Living in Newark, CAA community blending the old and new Newark was once considered part of Fremont but the founding fathers wanted to control their own destiny- and a new city was formed. Today Newark, CA is seen as part of Silicon Valley with many hi tech companies calling Newark home. Newark’s location allows for easy commuting to other Bay Area communities via 880 or the Dumbarton Bridge, providing easy access to Palo Alto and the San Francisco Peninsula. The George M. Silliman Community Activity and Family Aquatic Center is a 63,720 square foot state of the art center featuring a multi-purpose building with a gym, dance studio, fitness center, preschool classrooms and teen activity center.
