Welcome to Cherry Hills Village, CO

The quaint south suburban town of Cherry Hills Village, CO has 6,000 people and is known for its serene neighborhoods and close proximity to Denver. This bucolic setting does not allow any commercial development and maintains its feel as a “village” even though its website proudly calls itself the City of Cherry Hills Village. Lots are larger than in most municipalities around the Denver metro area and the homes are larger, too. Architecturally they range from new upscale mansions to mid-century modern remodels, one-level ranches and French Country-styled residences. Homes in Cherry Hills Village are as individual as their homeowners. Statistically, Cherry Hills Village is one of the most affluent places in Colorado. The Village boasts many neighborhood enclaves, many with unpaved roads as the choice of residents – possibly because dirt roads are a little easier on the horse and riders that are often seem on the Village’s many paths and trails. The Village is home to the prestigious private Kent Country Day School and is served on the public school side by the Cherry Creek School District.

Home of one of the metro area’s acclaimed golf courses and clubs, the Cherry Hills Country Club has hosted two PGA Championships and a US Women’s Open. And that’s not the only thing this club is known for: the now ubiquitous Arnold Palmer iced-tea drink was said to have been born at the bar, when the famous golfer insisted on lemonade in his iced tea.
