East Lyme, Connecticut is an adorable town with an extensive number of beaches along the Long Island Sound and Niantic Bay. The area of East Lyme is divided into two sections: the Village of Flanders, and the Village of Niantic.

The Thomas Lee House is a popular tourist spot for those visiting East Lyme. The home was built in 1660, and is the oldest home in Connecticut. The area includes 171-acre Rocky Neck State Park which lies on the shore of the Long Island Sound. The Rocky Neck Park's golden, no stone beaches make it an ideal place to bring family. Picnics, fishing, and camping are all available at the park.
