Watertown, Connecticut is a beautiful town with a great deal to offer. The city is home to world-renowned Taft School and hundreds of acres of parks and recreation.

Black Rock State Park is a fun place to take family and friends and do some camping along with fishing, boating and hiking on the hundreds of acres of parklands. The residents of Watertown take pride in the famous Taft School, a boarding school founded by Horace Dutton Taft, brother of former President William Howard Taft. The school is also the Alma Mater to President Taft's two sons. Dormitories and campus buildings sit on 220 acres, with the school housing over three fourths of its students in historic brick buildings on a beautiful landscape.
Watertown lies just outside the town of Waterbury, and is located in nearly the center of Connecticut. The cities great zoning and development plan has laid out land specifically for agriculture and housing. Watertown Schools comprise of over 3,500 students representing elementary, middle and high school levels. The major employers in Watertown are The Siemon Company, United Parcel Services, which houses a distribution center and The Torrington Company.
