Claremont, California

Claremont, California is a college town, with five private colleges and educational institutions, including Harvey Mudd, Pitzer, Claremont McKenna, Claremont Graduate, Pomona and Scripps colleges. There is a downtown area that borders the colleges, with a variety of shops and restaurants. Housing includes a mix of both old and new. Housing generally gets newer and bigger as you move north towards the hills. Children attend schools in the Claremont Unified School District. Claremont High tends to score in the 80th to 90th percentile. Claremont offers residents a Metrolink station with service to L.A. and San Bernardino.
