Welcome to Clark, NJ

Clark, nestled in central New Jersey, offers residents the best of all things New Jersey has to offer. Clark possesses all of the comfort, safety, and intimacy of a small town, while offering easy accessibility to the New York and Philadelphia metropolitan areas. Like many New Jersey towns, Clark’s history is deeply rooted in American history. Many reminders still exist of Clark’s colonial history, none more ubiquitous than the town’s name itself, named after Abraham Clark, one of New Jersey’s Declaration of Independence signers. Clark’s rich and vibrant history is only one of many factors that contribute to its allure in the heart of New Jersey.

Clark’s abundance of community activities, a stable economic status, high-performing school district, and low crime rates provide its over 14,000 residents with an ideal residential area to live and raise a family. Bisected by the Garden State Parkway and located in one of the most active transportation areas in the country, Clark provides plenty of economic opportunity and resources for its ambitious residents, as made evident by the town’s above-average economic indicators. Surrounding townships range from lower-priced urban markets to high-end suburban markets, while Clark, with its occasional exceptions, are modestly priced for the area, generally ranging from $300,000 to $750,000.

Numerous recreational and community-based activities bring the township of Clark to life. Its highly active recreation department succeeds in providing this township with the heart and energy that have been made so evident in Clark. These factors, and many more, work to create an atmosphere of comfort, security, and camaraderie that Clark’s residents enjoy all year round.
