Welcome to Greenville, Delaware

Greenville sits just northwest of the City of Wilmington, Delaware. This area of New Castle County is perhaps best known for its association with many of the country estates of the DuPont family in Delaware. Some of these famous estates are open to the public, like the Henry Francis DuPont Winterthur Museum & Gardens and Hagley Museum, while others remain privately maintained.

Even though Greenville lies just outside the Wilmington city limits, it remains worlds away from the hustle & bustle of downtown living with its mainly undeveloped countryside. Its location makes for an easy commute along scenic Rts. 52 or 100 but the area also offers many winding “back” roads that allow drivers to take in the lush landscape.

Boutique shopping and eateries are located along what would be considered the main street (Kennett Pike/Rt. 52) while the countryside offers activities such as golfing at one of the area's fine country clubs or hiking at nearby Brandywine Creek State Park. There are also many attractions such as the aforementioned Winterthur & Hagley Museums, the Delaware Natural History Museum, Twin Lakes Brewery and The Mount Cuba Center & Observatory.

Housing in this area mainly consists of established and often historic & private estates but there are also some new construction and unique/custom housing opportunities as well as small clusters of suburban communities and farms.
