Indeed, the museum features the largest dinosaur yet discovered, a 123-foot Argentinosauros that remains on permanent display. The museum also has an IMAX theater, other dinosaur remains on permanent display, plus interactive science features, artifacts, and more.

For laidback fun in the middle of Dunwoody, visit Brook Run Park. Billed as "102 Acres of the Arts, Nature's Way & Play," this park includes a Children's Adventure Garden with plans for an extensive skate park and aviary garden. For a park that's perfect for families and children, Brook Run Park is a fun place to visit.

For a foray into sophisticated local theater, the Stage Door Players have the answer.
