Welcome to Ellenton, FL

Located along the shores of the Manatee River, the town of Ellenton is set directly between Sarasota and St. Petersburg. It is an ideal location for those who want the small-town atmosphere within a short distance of every amenity.

The community is small and tight-knit, where friendly faces always greet you with a smile and everyone treats each other like family. In a place where the population is kept to a low number, new residents are welcomed immediately.

Ask anyone in the area about Ellenton and they will tell you the same thing: the shopping is incredible. Ellenton is a major destination for shoppers from all over the region, who make entire weekends out of their experience at the Outlet Malls. Shop the major brand stores, enjoy an array of wonderful food and stroll along the shaded walkways that make this outdoor outlet a tourist destination unto itself.

Over 20% of the area within Ellenton’s borders is water, so housing options are predominantly waterfront properties. Cottages and estates, alike, dot the banks of the beautiful Manatee River. Condo and single-family home development has occurred recently to increase the lifestyle opportunities, and local government has set limits to maintain the harmonic balance between the beautiful natural setting and growth.
