Welcome to Englewood, FL

One of the most beautiful “small towns” in Florida, Englewood is a Gulf-front community set along the border of Sarasota and Charlotte counties. Springing up from a sleepy fishing village, the town runs from Pt. Charlotte northward to Venice and borders the Gulf of Mexico, Lemon Bay and the Myakka River.

The residents of Englewood are a diverse group, yet extremely close knit. From wealthy retirees and professionals to young families and locals that boast generations of residency, the hometown feel is enjoyed by all.

While the feel of the area is that of a small town, there is also a vibrant business . Mom-and-Pop businesses, local shops and diners intermix with cafes, art galleries and upscale restaurants.

The direct access to multiple bodies of water make fishing and boating among the most popular of local amusements, as well as relaxing trips to the beautiful beaches that sit along miles of pristine coastline. There is also a thriving performing arts community, with exceptional theater and musical productions. The housing options in Englewood are as diverse as the population. From million dollar waterfront estates and private upscale condominiums to homes in small family neighborhoods. The living opportunities are available and affordable in any price range.
