Diverse Excelsior Springs, MO

Excelsior Springs, Missouri was settled in 1880. It is the little town that forgot to stop growing, boasting a population of 11,200, with a mixture of urban and small town life styles. Located at the juncture of U.S. 69 and Missouri 10 Highways in eastern Clay County; an easy 20-25 minute drive to downtown Kansas City or to the Kansas City International Airport. The City has a multitude of dining venues from fast food to fine dining, from seafood, to family style, to its famous Wabash barbeque. Culturally, Excelsior Springs is as diverse as its cuisines. Whatever your recreational tastes may be, from golf, to swimming, to fishing, or for the nature lover to explore Siloam Mountain Park, Tryst Falls, Watkins Mills State Park or for the history buff it would be the Hall of Waters, Watkins Woolen Mill or the historic Elms hotel and spa, it can be found here.

A broad selection of in-town homes, townhouses and single family residences ranging in price are available. In the surrounding area, country estates on 3 to 5 or 10 acres or larger with horse facilities are available. The Excelsior Springs school system is known for its quality education, and its “A Plus” student program, including an outstanding regional area vocational training academy. Excelsior Springs is an oasis of friendly people with an attitude of lean back and enjoy life, within its friendly atmosphere.
