Christmas - Known for its Fort Christmas Museum

Christmas is known for its Fort Christmas Museum, situated within a reconstruction of a Second Seminole Indian-era fort. Construction of the original fort was begun on December 25, 1837, from which it derived its name. Picnic and recreation facilities are also located on the grounds.

Christmas is also host to the annual Orlando Wetlands Park Festival. The Orlando Wetlands Park represents the world’s first large-scale wetlands treatment system, and is a 1,650-acre oasis for flora, fauna and feathered friends near Fort Christmas Park.
