About Daytona Beach Shores, FL

This town distinguished itself from its more populated northern neighbor, Daytona Beach, because it is a residential community solely. There is no manufacturing and there are no schools in Daytona Beach Shores. The simple life of condominiums is evident both on the Atlantic Ocean and on the Halifax River. This section of the peninsula is only a few hundred yards wide and 5 miles long. It is best described as a resort and retirement community.
