About Lauderdale by the Sea, Florida

Lauderdale by the Sea is a tropical bliss that offers a serene coastal escape along with easy access to many lively cities. This city is home to one of the only living coral reefs in the United States that is accessible from shore. Divers who explore Greater Fort Lauderdale's artificial reef system are likely to see angelfish, barracuda and octopuses. Snorkeling and scuba diving are popular activities, as are fishing, sunbathing, and swimming-all of which can be enjoyed year round. The shoreline is bustling with many condos and hotels with great cottage-style homes and estates tucked in this oasis located on the east-side of the Intracoastal Waterway.
