The City of Orange Park, FloridaOrange Park is the largest and most developed area in Clay County, just south of Jacksonville on the west side of the St. Johns River. Its popularity as a place to live is due to an increasing number of new housing developments, a convenient location and access to plenty of shopping, dining and other recreation. Its proximity to Naval Air Station Jacksonville have made it a natural choice for active duty military personnel and civilians.
Orange Park enjoys close access to the city while still maintaining more of a small town, old Florida feel. The history of the area can be seen in the housing that varies widely, from inexpensive starter homes to million-dollar estates. As it hugs the west bank of the St. Johns River, many of the luxurious homes boast waterfront views and boating access, either on the river or on Doctor’s Lake. In recent years, some of that rural land has evolved into new housing developments, offering modern, stylish homes in comfortable, convenient neighborhoods. More established neighborhoods are plentiful in Orange Park.
