Newnan, Georgia, the “City of Homes” was spared during the Civil War because many of its buildings were used as war-time hospitals. As a result, the city has six historic districts filled with beautiful antebellum homes.

Residents of the historic districts often walk to the town square, where they enjoy shopping, dining, coffee, and listening to the hourly bells of local downtown churches.

Additionally, Newnan has an abundance of shopping and restaurants, recreation facilities such as soccer and softball fields, movie theaters, a fine arts Centre, great medical facilities, and a wide array of churches.
