When General James Oglethorpe landed on the shores of America in 1733, he probably didn't have what is now Savannah in mind. Such a place could not have been imagined back then. While the summers can be a bit balmy, hiding out in one of the many local museums, shops or award-winning restaurants is a more than acceptable alternative to outdoor activities. Though its history is compelling and clearly noteworthy, after nearly 300 years in existence, there are bound to be some stories. Savannah just happens to have those regarding ghosts.
