The friendly tidings between Oglethorpe and the Native American Tomochici tribe set the standard on day one of what the people of Savannah would be know for, their friendliness and hospitality. In the true spirit of this way of live, the residents of the City of Savannah have continued to welcome people of all ethnicities and backgrounds into their humble city since this time and is presently known as one of the most sundry cities in the U.S.
