Welcome to Goochland, VA

Located on a 40-mile stretch of the James River and surrounded the 1-65, Goochland is conveniently located to all amenities of Richmond, and boasts some great things of its own! Virginia Beach and Washington, D.C., are also conveniently located to the city within a two-hour drive.

Traditionally, Goochland has been considered a rural county. Recently, Goochland has been and continues to grow at a notable speed. Businesses have been migrating to Goochland due to the completion of the regional highway Route 288 that connects the city to numerous areas around the county. CarMax and Capital One Bank Services are the county’s two largest employers that both call Goochland home. The Tuckahoe Creek Service District is in the process of being built, and will provide sewer and water service to 8,500 acres of commercial areas. Goochland’s growing population and employers are making its real estate good for investments or purchasing a home. Mix work with play in Goochland, with tons of real estate options available for many price ranges. Condominiums, townhouses, and single family unit options are growing just as fast as the community itself!

The University of Virginia and The University of Virginia are two of the distinguished institutions in close proximity to Goochland.
