Greenfield, WI: Tree city USAWith the abundance of beautiful parks and wooded areas it is easy to see why Greenfield has been categorized as a “Tree City USA”. Greenfield is bordered by five county parks: Barnard, Armour, Zablocki, Root River Parkway and Kulwicki; as well as eight city parks: Dan Jansen, Honey Bear, Creekwood Park, Haker, Brookside-Meadow Drive, Konkel, Pondview, and Wildcat Creek Nature Corridor. Many of these areas are kept up as well as the city’s natural image enhanced by city’s very own Greenfield Beautification Committee.
