Hacienda Heights, California

The population of Hacienda Heights is around 53,000. Most of the housing in Hacienda Heights was constructed in the 70s and 80s. Many of the homes are large homes, with countryside views. There are some older residential properties, but they are very well cared for. Hacienda Heights is home to one of the largest Buddhist Temples in the world. Currently, it is not incorporated as a legal city, but residents have and are attempting to do so. Children attend Hacienda-La Puente Unified School District. In 2000, voters approved a $100 million bond to renovate district schools.
