Welcome to Hampshire, IL

The village of Hampshire is located northwest of Chicago in Kane County. It has a small town charming feel- with its population approaching 6000 residents in 2008. The choices for housing are numerous…from 1st time condo/townhome options, to semi-custom and custom homes- to beautiful country farmettes and dream equestrian estates. Located right by Interstate 90, the area enjoys easy access to shopping and commuting for residents. Hampshire is 45 minutes from Chicago O’Hare International Airport and 25 minutes from the Greater Rockford Airport. It takes just 10 minutes on Rt. 47 to reach the popular Prime Outlet Mall in nearby Huntley. Hampshire has excellent schools and a great park district, making it the perfect place to raise a family. Though this area has doubled in population in just eight short years its small town charm is intact and the Village takes great pride in preserving that feeling!
