Harrington, Delaware is in Kent County, about 16 miles south of the state capital and only a short drive to the Delaware beaches.

Harrington is perhaps most well known for hosting the 10-day long Delaware State Fair every July. The Delaware State Fair provides a showcase for the area's rich agriculture and features carnival rides as well as local and regional musical acts.

For those looking for year-round entertainment, Harrington is also home to Midway Slots & Simulcast, Harrington Raceway and Centre Ice Rink. These attractions have made Harrington a destination spot for those interested in casino-style gambling as well as those seeking family-oriented activities.

In juxtaposition to the bustling attractions are the residential areas that consist mainly of older, established communities centered around Harrington's fertile farmland. Residents and visitors alike delight in all Harrington has to offer.
