Welcome to Horicon, WI

The city of Horicon has a population of about 4,000 and is located on the southern edge of the beautiful State Wildlife Area and National Wildlife Refuge The Horicon Marsh. Spanning over both sides of the Rock River, Horicon offers beautiful scenery and a variety of outdoor activities including hiking and bike trails, camping, bird watching, boating, fishing, and hunting.

Horicon enjoys a rich cultural heritage ranging from the historic Satterlee Clarke House Museum built in 1863 to the seasonal Naturalist programs to The Rock River Archaeology Society dedicated to studying the Native American history of the area.

Horicon provides many opportunities for recreation such as the Horicon Rock ’n River Jam, the Horicon Aquatic Center recreation facility, and the stunning riverside Rock River Hills Golf Course.
