About Barrington Hills, Illinois

Just 34 miles northwest of downtown Chicago, Barrington Hills provides its residents with rolling farmland and scenic vistas while still providing the amenities of a larger community. Barrington Hills has used careful planning to retain its country feel, and all homes in the village are on spacious, multi-acre lots. Home buyers can find single-family houses in a variety of styles, and much larger custom-built homes are also available. The village contains 6,200 acres of forest preserve that contain paths for hiking, bicycling, and horse riding. While Barrington Hills does not contain a central shopping district, restaurants and stores of all varieties are just a short drive away.
