Growing Community of Country Club Hills, IL

Referring to itself at the "crossroads of opportunity" and "the city with country charm,” the city of Country Club Hills provides a pleasant suburban atmosphere in a young and growing community. Several shopping centers provide convenient goods and services, although larger enclosed malls are located in nearby cities. Cicero Avenue is the focal point of commercial development, and tax incentives continue to attract new businesses. Newcomers will discover an array of attractive housing that includes ranches, colonials, Cape Cods, and bi-levels. Handsome townhomes and condominiums–some that border beautiful and serene forest preserve property – are available for a maintenance-free lifestyle. Excellent transportation connections include the Tri-State Tollway and Interstates 57 and 80, which pass directly through the town to provide commuting ease into regional employment centers. Recreational facilities are well developed, including nearly 120 acres of parkland for sports, walking and jogging, and fitness. Special programs range from arts and crafts to fencing and horseback riding. Many residents take advantage of the trails in the forest preserve and the fairways of the nearby Cherry Hills Country Club. Ideally situated at the junction of major thoroughfares, the city is well positioned for future growth and development.
